Job Description

As a License Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing licensing strategies in countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This involves working closely with our engineering, business, and legal teams to ensure compliance with national regulations and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing licensing strategies that align with business objectives;
  • Securing and maintaining necessary licenses for satellite systems, earth stations, user equipment, and spectrum occupancy;
  • Enhancing the customer experience by shaping national and regional policies and regulations affecting non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) communications systems;
  • Engaging with national and regional telecommunications organizations to maintain liaison with regulators and industry actors.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as telecommunications;
  • At least 8 years of experience securing licenses for telecommunications services and ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Experience working with high-level government officials and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams;
  • Knowledge of NGSO communications systems and ITU Radio Regulations.
