Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting and repairing equipment, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical systems throughout the hotel, including pipes, fittings, and pumps.
  • Perform fabrication, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, structures, and sanitary facilities.
  • Install or repair meters, starters, switchgears, fitting, wiring, vacuum machines, cables, and other equipment as required.
  • Conduct weekly test runs on generators, check battery water levels, and monitor engine oil levels regularly.
  • Maintain daily log sheets for temperature and pressure readings in accordance with established protocols.
  • Repair defective flushing systems, toilet bowls, urinals, basins, and ventilation pipes promptly.
  • Check and repair valves for hot and cold water and chilled water systems efficiently.
  • Perform plumbing and masonry work as required, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Participate in fire evacuation drills and building inspections, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining workshop areas and plant rooms clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • ITE or Diploma graduates or relevant license or experience preferred.
  • More than 3 years' experience in a related industry is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently is essential.
  • Work safely, prudently, and organized manner is crucial.
