Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project procurement and contract management, encompassing budgeting, funding approval, and cost control. This role requires periodic review of public sector procurement frameworks to ensure alignment with the institution's procurement policies and financial procedures.

  • Supervise Quantity Surveying and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering consultants on matters related to cost, procurement, contracts, and capitalization.
  • Review and verify tender documents for compliance with the institution's procurement policy and financial procedures.
  • Prepare, call, evaluate, and award tenders and quotations in accordance with the institution's procurement policy and financial procedures.
  • Attend consultant and site meetings to ensure contractual requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with consultants on contract administration, including documentation, progress payments, variation works, and project cost management.
