Trade Support Specialist

Join Macquarie's Operations division and be part of a dynamic team that provides verification, confirmation, booking, and settlement facilities for various products and currencies across the globe.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Equity Trading and Derivatives business from the trading floor, handling listed and unlisted equity products across Australia, Asia, EMEA, and the US.
  • Ensure timely completion of daily tasks such as trade booking, lifecycle management, corporate actions, controls, and reconciliation investigations.
  • Resolve issues raised by stakeholders across products and markets using problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to process automation, participate in projects and testing, and support operational improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, preferably in middle office or trade processing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Alteryx, Power Automate, and PowerBI is advantageous.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
