Job Title: Molecular Biologist (Protein Sciences)


Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Molecular Biologist to join our team in Protein Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical and analytical tasks in our state-of-the-art laboratory.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform cell culture experiments, data analysis and documentation of the results
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Document procedures, protocols, and findings in a detailed and organized manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure strict adherence to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures

Key Responsibilities

The Molecular Biologist will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for resuscitation, passage, transfection, culture and other experiments of mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO
  • Perform protein expression, purification and characterization
  • Operate bioreactors, centrifuges and prepare buffers and reagents

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as life sciences or biological chemistry
  • Some familiarity in the use of various laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Good technical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate and precise work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
