Pharmacy Technician Job Description

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to process medication orders and prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient services.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, and labelling medications according to stipulated policies, guidelines, and department standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition is also part of the job.
  • The pharmacy technician will perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards.
  • Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines, and department standard operating procedures is another key responsibility.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate should possess a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science.
  • A completed Basic Skill Test or Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) is required.
Working Location:
  • The successful candidate will work in public healthcare facilities.
