Job Summary

This role involves supporting the teaching and learning process in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to ensure the smooth operation of science laboratory and special rooms, as well as provide administrative support to the General Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock-taking of equipment and Science resource materials effectively.
  • Purchase and prepare lab materials/resources to facilitate experiment execution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive catalogue of lab resources to assist teachers in planning their activities.
  • Enhance the appearance and functionality of the lab by purchasing posters and furniture.
  • Assist teachers during experiments.
  • Keep a log on loaning and returning of apparatus.
  • Prepare apparatus and equipment for lessons.
  • Ensure general cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
  • Support Science enrichment and competitions as needed.
  • Verify that special rooms are tidy and safe for students.
  • Collate learning worksheets for P1 to P6 classes.
  • Prepare materials for learning activities and examinations.
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by teachers.
  • Accompany teachers on learning journeys if required.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Office as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the school.
