Job Title: Learning Support Specialist

Our school is seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and develop curriculum programs that cater to individual student requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver inclusive educational programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and development.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants to enhance their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent experience in Special Education.
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics.
  • Prior experience working with students with autism is highly desirable.
