Job Overview

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing local Singapore and regional QEHS activities, programs, and KPI. This includes maintaining and continuously improving the company's Integrated/Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of local Singapore and regional QEHS activities, programs, and KPI.
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's Integrated/Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001).
  • Planning and leading internal audits, as well as coordinating external certification and surveillance audits.
  • Cascading company objectives into departmental targets and metrics for management review meetings, reporting progress, nonconformities, and improvement actions to ensure departmental and company targets are achieved.
  • Development and delivery of QEHS inductions and refresher programs for staff and site personnel, maintenance of training matrix and competency records.
  • Leadership and performance of regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or potential risks, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Investigation of incidents and near-misses, preparation of reports, and follow-up on preventive measures.
  • Maintenance of bizSAFE certificate, planning and leading external audit for certification renewal.
  • Monitoring of changes to Singapore WSH and other requirements, ensuring permits, licenses, and statutory inspections are current, liaison with regulators and third-party auditors as needed.
  • Consolidation and submission of safety performance, environmental metrics, and quality KPIs per corporate schedules, ensuring data integrity and auditability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Quality/Industrial Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing QEHS in power plants, EPC, industrial plants, or Oil & Gas industries.
  • Proven track record in leading and handling ISO external audits regionally, maintaining bizSAFE certificates, and sustainability reporting.
  • Deep knowledge in QMS ISO, Risk Assessment, and Root-Cause Analysis.
  • Understanding of Regional - APAC Safety standards.
  • Able to travel to sites locally and regionally.
