Key Account Management Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to excel in supplier management and relationship building. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering world-class relationships between key suppliers and the organization, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and high-quality goods at competitive costs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic vision and targets for the supplier landscape by aligning with the category manager's technology roadmap and product roadmap while considering regional needs.
  • Jointly define and execute category sourcing strategies with the Category PFT and strategic supplier account plans.
  • Proactively monitor supply base developments and trends within Metrology, Light sources, and Positioning Systems, ensuring the organization is prepared to react accordingly for short- to long-term impacts.
  • Lead supplier selection activities by heading one or more Sourcing Teams.
  • Prepare and present critical information for executive review meetings regarding make/buy decisions and supplier selections.
  • Negotiate Long-Term Supply Agreements (LTSA), NPI Agreements, and associated addendums, monitoring contractual compliance of both parties.
  • Pursue continuous cost and lead time reduction.
  • Manage QLTCS performance with SAT through regular review processes, including Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Executive Review Meeting (ERM).
  • Forecast supplier spending and monitor financial health.
  • Ensure consistent communication with suppliers.
  • Rationalize the supply base within categories.
  • Participate in overall capabilities audits and drive closure of findings and improvement plans.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in supplier management in a high-tech, international manufacturing environment.
  • A deep understanding of one or more technology-related supply chains is highly desirable.
  • Experience with complex negotiations, problem-solving, strategic planning, and financial analysis are essential.
  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally is required.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques is advantageous, and strong knowledge of technology manufacturing is preferred.
