Commercial Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Operations professional to oversee the execution of post-deal activities. This includes shipping and logistics, trade operations, hedging, chartering, and trade execution.

The ideal candidate will serve as the main point of contact for third-party technical advisors, aligning on product performance and customer requirements.

This role will lead continuous improvements in commercial operations processes, systems, and internal controls, as well as inter-office coordination across regional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of shipping and logistics, trade operations, hedging, chartering, and trade execution
  • Main point of contact for third-party technical advisors

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in physical commodity trading operations
  • Deep operational knowledge of trade execution, chartering, and shipping
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation, letters of credit, product specifications, and compliance standards
  • Proven experience in managing operational risk, trade finance, counterparty exposure, and price benchmarking
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in bulk commodities sectors
