This role oversees the packaging process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety regulations. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for supervising packaging operations, leading teams, and managing resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise packaging operations to ensure smooth day-to-day activities, including machine operation, material handling, and quality control.
  • Lead and motivate packaging teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • E nsure all packaging processes adhere to food safety regulations, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Oversee procurement, storage, and efficient use of packaging materials, including forecasting and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement production plans, ensuring packaging aligns with production schedules.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new packaging designs and materials.
  • Monitor and control packaging costs, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • E nsure packaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.
  • Generate reports on packaging performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, including production, quality control, and procurement.
  • Address and resolve issues related to packaging operations, such as production delays, quality defects, or equipment malfunctions.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
