Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

The primary goal of this position is to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of our data center infrastructure. This entails being responsible for installation, monitoring, and maintenance of all equipment and systems within the data center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of hardware and software components within the data center infrastructure.

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing equipment and systems to prevent failures and optimize performance.

  • Monitoring of data center infrastructure technology and components for operation.

  • Collaboration with team members to achieve shared objectives and goals.

  • Effective communication with stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a DC operator.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

  • Detailed knowledge of data center infrastructure technology and components for installation.

  • Working knowledge of DC M&E for operation.

  • Vendor management skills.

  • Experience in eye-ball checking of system faults and failures.

  • Good technical knowledge on Data Centre monitoring tools.

  • Strong written and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MCSE certification or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

  • Knowledge of power distribution and cabling systems.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
