About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Maker Lab's dynamic team as a Social Media Content Creator. We're seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional storytelling skills to create engaging, conversational and culturally resonant editorial narratives through the medium of video.

In this role, you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to craft and curate high-impact content, focusing on the ideation, development and production of video features and formats. You'll also contribute to the visual effects including motion graphics, digital animations and special effects.

A key aspect of this role is overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and monitoring editing of all outgoing video content. This includes ensuring that it is optimized and properly specced for the platforms it is published on.

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. You'll also need to stay on top of global and local design, effects and editing trends, sharing your insights with the team to experiment and develop new innovative ways of telling the client's brand story.

Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality video content that meets all aesthetic, design and technical requirements. If you have experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro, we'd love to hear from you.
