About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives to support business growth and reduce costs.

  • Perform spend analysis to inform sourcing strategies and annual plans.
  • Conduct market intelligence studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and implement procurement programs that improve knowledge and skills within the organization.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through process improvements and supplier negotiations.
  • Support the development and implementation of group procurement strategies, policies, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes.
  • Lead and manage procurement processes at the divisional level, including tender management.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Procurement Policies and Procedures (GPPA) and Divisional SOPs.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating vendor capabilities and conducting risk assessments.
  • Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
  • Coordinating tenders and evaluating proposals from potential suppliers.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Providing expertise on procurement best practices and industry trends.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or purchasing.
