Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans that secure high-quality goods and services while ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts and prices.
  • Manage the procurement process from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of procurement software and systems an added advantage.
