Job Title: Freight Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:
  • Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Liaise with customers, carriers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations and meet customer needs.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide updates to customers as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably with a focus on ocean freight.
  • Strong proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player mentality.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Analytical skills and expertise in supply chain management.
  • Experience in export, import, or both processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
