Job Description

The Air Freight Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the import shipment process from start to finish. This involves inputting data into the Kewill Enterprise Forwarding (KEF) system, notifying consignees of shipment arrival via phone or email, and calculating terminal and air freight charges.

The specialist will also release import documents to consignees, collect payment, apply for cheque advances or e-payments, and submit manifests within seven days of shipment arrival. Additionally, they must ensure accuracy and compliance in Tradenet declarations, issue delivery orders, confirm delivery addresses, and arrange for delivery with appointed contractors.

This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle a fast-paced workload. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the shipping industry, knowledge of air freight import documentations, and a strong understanding of Singapore shipping procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least O-Level qualification
  • Minimum one year of experience in shipping industry
  • Knowledge of air freight import documentations, Singapore shipping procedure & freight forwarding experience
