Respiratory Therapist Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is a crucial member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Units and General Ward.

  • We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services.
Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience working with patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and related disorders. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Provide clinical respiratory services including complete or modified patient respiratory assessment, monitoring patient progress, and modifying care plans as needed.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status and care plans.
  • Document procedures, organize and analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
  • Adhere to hospital and department operating procedures in the delivery of respiratory services.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Preferably 2-3 years' clinical ICU experience.
