Role Summary

The Senior Assignment Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless aircraft service operations at Changi Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assign equipment operators for various tasks, including aircraft pushback/towing, water/toilet servicing, and supply of ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff and customers to address any issues or requests.
  • Monitor equipment requirements/shortages and collaborate with the Equipment Maintenance team to resolve them.
  • Ensure punctual flight departures by maintaining regular walkie-talkie communication with equipment operators.
  • Attend to customer requests/complaints where necessary and update duty supervisors on any delays.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A higher Nitec/Diploma in Aviation or Aircraft Management is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Applications is advantageous.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts is essential.
Essential Skills:
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is required.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry is crucial.
  • Risk management skills are necessary.
  • Equipment maintenance expertise is required.
