BASF SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Product Stewardship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our regional business unit, plant, sales organization, and product developers on product stewardship and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide product stewardship guidance and support to ensure compliance with existing and upcoming product safety regulations.
  • Pre-empt risks of non-compliance and provide recommendations and resolutions to overcome challenges.
  • Drive product safety as a key element in innovation and sustainable feedstocks.
  • Implement governance measures and carry out risk assessments in business for selling products into sensitive applications.
  • Monitor regulatory trends and keep regional leadership apprised of regulatory risks and potential impacts on business and product portfolio development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 6-8 years' experience in product stewardship, EHS, or related functions in the chemical industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of polymer chemistry, value chain, and safe handling in plant operation.
  • Experience working with chemical regulations, including GHS, safety datasheet, product declaration, and registration.
