Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Relief Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in teaching in any International Schools in Singapore, with a strong background in Science, Mathematics, and English for Lower Secondary levels.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, strategizing, formalizing, and executing the Cambridge curriculum teaching framework. This includes conducting indoor/outdoor classroom activities for/with students as prescribed by the Cambridge curriculum and/or by school coordinators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, strategize, formalize, and execute for Cambridge curriculum teaching framework, matters and processes
  • Teach Grade 6 to Grade 8 students with the subject(s) assigned and as prescribed by the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Conduct routine testing and evaluation of the students
  • Provide students with individualized care and concern
  • Provide student support, teacher support, and instructional support
  • Perform any other duties that may assign to you
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Seasoned teacher with prior experience in teaching in any International Schools in Singapore
  • Having teaching experience in Science, Mathematics, and English for Lower Secondary levels
  • Undergone relevant teaching experience in Cambridge, IB, PYP curricula
  • Competent with pedagogical techniques within Cambridge framework of teaching and learning
  • Passionate and caring about kids
  • Eloquent in English & a good communicator
  • Masters degree preferred but not essential
