Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide professional support to the research team. This involves collaborating with senior analysts and contributing to fundamental research projects. Key tasks include report writing, financial modeling, and maintaining databases.

This position requires a high level of teamwork and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating ideas for team development, communicating issues that require action, and supporting colleagues when needed.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Assist senior analysts in covering diverse sectors such as industrials, healthcare, and internet.
  • Perform due diligence, write research reports, and condense research ideas into PowerPoint presentations.
  • Maintain databases of economic and industry-specific data.
  • Accompany clients on visits and produce notes on all interactions.
  • Develop and maintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients, government agencies, and industry organizations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting majors.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a research associate or related experience in a large accountancy firm (desired).
  • Understanding of financial modeling principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High sense of commercial awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication, relationship management, and customer service skills.
