Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Operations Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the liaison officer between partnering distributors and AIA internal stakeholders, bridging operation disparity between partnering firms and AIA standards of business.
  • Support distribution channel initiatives for process improvements, participate in providing conceptualised feedback for betterment of current processes.
  • Handle enquiries and requests from partners through calls and emails within the agreed turnaround time, managing of document submissions (tracking and routing).
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing by respective internal stakeholders, relaying completion updates and deliverables to hands of customers via partners.
  • Responsible for coordination and preparation and documenting of team meetings.
  • Maintain and update team manual to ensure all new workflows and guidelines are incorporated and documented accurately.
  • Uphold compliance to all IT and Compliance guidelines.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager and/or HOD.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree or Diploma
  • At least 3-5 years of experience (preferably in Insurance Operations) or Policy Servicing or equivalent experience in Life/A&H policies.
  • Related insurance qualifications such as M5, M9 and LOMA would be an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and with a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter who constantly strives for excellence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively influence individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
