We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Strategic Grants Specialist to join our Charities & Grants Team. As the only philanthropic foundation in Singapore that funds charity programmes across all causes, we provide opportunities to create impact across diverse needs in Singapore.
About the Role
Salary: SGD 90,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum
In this role, you will catalyse grants by developing innovative evidence-based grantmaking strategies and practices. You will oversee the development of grantmaking features for a new donor portal platform, supporting the development of a novel online-offline experience that enriches the donor's philanthropic experience. Additionally, you will generate significantly large value grants in partnership with donors and charity partners that improve impact delivery to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and launch the CFS Social Impact Framework, capturing direct and indirect contributions to charity partners and beneficiaries
Operational Improvement
- Streamline and enhance current grantmaking processes to improve productivity
- Analyse grant making data to improve grant making and charity engagement strategies
- Oversee knowledge and data management for the team, generating regular reports on grantmaking trends, cause insights, and donor demand
Required Skills and Qualifications
Basic degree in Social Sciences preferred;
At least 7 years of direct experience working in fundraising, managing grants or programmes in non-profit sector or public service sector;
Core competencies in donor engagement, programme development, programme evaluation, and grant management;
Good interpersonal skills and strong proactive attitude;
Supportive team player and enjoys collaborating with others on projects;
Meticulous eye for detail;
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Fundraising, grant writing, and project management experience;
Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
