About the RoleWe're seeking an accomplished chef with a passion for innovation and exceptional leadership skills. As the head of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for developing menus, managing food costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement new menus, manage food costs, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Customer Service: Ensure that every guest has an exceptional dining experience, responding promptly to any issues or concerns.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Professional Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams and motivating staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative menu ideas.
