School Administration Assistant

  • As a key member of the school team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the general office. You will act as the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, providing information and guidance on various aspects of school life.
  • You will be handling phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding school operations, admissions, events, and other related matters. Your role will also involve responding to complaints, concerns, feedback, or requests and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate department or resolved promptly.
  • One of your main responsibilities will be to provide support to the school's reception desk, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate person or department. You will also assist teachers with clerical tasks such as distributing resources.
  • Another important aspect of your role is to assist teachers with preparation of teaching and learning materials, including inputting and managing data into the school's administrative systems.
  • You will be working closely with the administration manager to perform administrative duties for teaching staff and supervisors.

  • A minimum of [X] years of experience working in a primary school general office.
  • Relevant work experience in general administration and taking care of primary school students.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide good service to stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • The contract period for this position is from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
  • The salary for this position is $1980 per month.
  • The working arrangement for this position is from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with no requirement for work on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, school holidays, or school closures.
