Senior Search Marketing Strategist

Job Description:

  • The Senior Search Marketing Strategist will be responsible for the effective delivery of client SEO services directly.
  • You will work with high-profile clients, where small changes can make a big difference.
  • Lead the day-to-day running of key client accounts and drive improvement in the implementation of new creative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure delivery of existing business and maintain quality and satisfaction.
  2. Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders within the agencies.
  3. Support and encourage new business to meet agency targets.
  4. Oversee SEO campaigns encompassing all audit, optimization, and reporting workstreams concerning the technical setup and content of client websites.
  5. Be an evangelist for complete SEO offerings within the agencies and increase staff competencies for effective delivery.
  6. Train, manage, and mentor working teams to deliver their best work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of core SEO experience.
  • Deep understanding of modern SERPs and search environments and ability to audit websites to discover opportunities to improve website ranking in complex integrated search environments.
  • At least 5 years of strategic/client relationship experience in an agency.
  • Actively pursues excellence while driving efficiency.
  • Continuously drives improvement in the implementation of new creative ideas, identifies new trends, and turns them into actionable insights of performance optimization.
  • Sees the big picture yet pays attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset driven by curiosity.
  • A keen learner willing to coach, train, and educate.
  • A good mix of traits as a team player and individual contributor – and as a project lead, ready to dive in and get hands-on as the situation requires.
  • Any kind of expertise in any of the following areas is preferable: Conversion Optimisation (CRO/LPO) Exhibit advanced grasp on JavaScript, CSS, and HTML put together and their impact on page performance and content delivery. Adapt with API use and curious about data. Well-experienced with Omniture/Google Analytics set-up and configuration.
