Senior Data Analyst Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to analytical efforts aimed at ensuring regulatory adherence and internal policy alignment across our operations.


About the Role:
The Senior Data Analyst – Compliance will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design systems and dashboards that monitor transactional patterns, optimize operational workflows, and support global compliance frameworks.

This role requires a high degree of analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills to deliver data-driven insights and ensure regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a high-performing data analytics team, building models and visualizations that support compliance and risk-related objectives.
2. Partner with compliance departments to prioritize analytical use cases and deliver data-driven insights.
3. Interpret and analyze large-scale transactional and operational data using open-source and proprietary tools.
4. Develop and manage data visualization dashboards and tools to enhance regulatory reporting and internal monitoring.
5. Own and fulfill stakeholder data requests, translating complex data into actionable strategies.
6. Support automation and workflow improvement within compliance processes.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably in finance, compliance, or trading environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Strong experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, R.
• Skilled with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).
• Familiarity with big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Hive, Redshift.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments, risk modeling, or compliance analytics is a plus.
