As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and operational efficiency within our organization.

This is a hybrid position with a mix of office and remote work. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating insightful visualizations to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and strategic decision-making. You will interpret complex data sets, develop reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance and risk management across the organization.

You will design and develop dashboards/reports that display key risk indicators including transaction volumes, flagged activities, and customer risk scores. Additionally, you will work with stakeholders to identify analytics needs and provide expert advice on data-driven strategies.

Apart from this, you will perform data testing to validate data accuracy, consistency, and reliability before utilizing it in visualizations and reports. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies through data analytics.

Your expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar, and programming languages such as Python, R and SQL will be crucial in optimizing existing visualizations for better performance and user experience.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor's/ Masters degree in engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization and data intelligence
  • Proficiency in database management, data extraction and data manipulation skills
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
