Job Title: Collection Specialist

Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound collection calls in a call centre environment.
  • You will communicate and explain breakdowns of amount payable to customers in detail, ensuring that they understand their financial obligations.
  • Additionally, you will follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely action is taken to achieve collection targets on behalf of clients from various industries.
  • To enhance effectiveness, you will adopt collection best practices and apply relevant strategies.
  • You will arrange and negotiate payment with customers, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Your duties will also include performing administrative tasks, such as enquiries and accounts monitoring.
  • You will update and maintain the Credit Collection Systems, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess at least a Diploma or Degree.
  • Prior experience in a call centre (inbound and outbound calls), telemarketing, customer service, or debt collection is required.
  • You must be able to speak English proficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A service-oriented and results-driven individual who can work effectively in a team environment is preferred.
