Job Title:
Culinary ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our dynamic team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food effectively and efficiently. This includes assisting in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions and new items on the menu.
- Ensure procedures for supplies, equipment, and work areas comply with established standards.
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the senior chef.
- Assist in accurate food-ordering and stocking levels.
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a kitchen as a food preparation and/or cooking professional.
- A minimum technical certificate or certification in a relevant field.
- Strong initiative, integrity, and customer service orientation.
- Able to monitor inventory and ensure the kitchen is stocked with supplies whilst reducing waste.
- Compliance with health and safety procedures.
