Job Title: Customer Experience Champion

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Update and maintain daily attendance records, Lost & Found inventory, and housekeeping files.
  • Operate hotel systems such as SAP, Opera, Stayplease, and others, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Assistant Housekeepers regarding VIP arrivals and in-house rooms.
  • Manage the Communication system for all Housekeeping staff, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
  • Process special requests for arriving guests, collaborating with Housekeeping Supervisor and Assistant Housekeepers.
  • Follow up on work orders with the Engineering Department or Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Print and file necessary daily reports, maintaining organized records.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy Housekeeping Office, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Raise purchase requests for Housekeeping operations, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct monthly inventory, weekly stocktakes, and discrepancy checks.
  • Handle goods received and issue stocks to the Housekeeping team.
  • Clear outdated reports in the office, adhering to hotel record-keeping standards.
  • Ensure sufficient stock of used forms in the Housekeeping department.
  • Report any unusual or suspicious guest or staff behavior.
  • Maintain compliance with grooming and uniform standards.
  • Ensure adherence to legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
  • Perform duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, upholding acts of grace, policies, and procedures.
  • Comply with corporate and hotel standards and procedures.
  • Actively promote a work environment that cares for guests and associates alike.
  • Able to work any shift assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems and software.
