Building Maintenance and Painting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance and Painting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems and maintaining a high level of aesthetic appeal.

Job Description:
  • Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Carry out painting and finishing works, including surface preparation, patching, priming, and applying paints, varnishes, or polish to walls, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Repair and maintain the resort's aesthetics by fixing cracks, stains, and other surface damages.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, ladders, scaffolding, and power tools.
  • Maintain documentation of work performed and report recurring issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical certificate or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services preferred.
  • Prior experience in building maintenance and painting/finishing, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Knowledge of building systems, painting techniques, and safe handling of equipment and chemicals.
  • Team player with good communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
