Job Description:

The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and functional operations of assigned buildings or estates. This includes managing a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring they adhere to agreed KPIs.

In addition to this, the role involves managing expenditure, addressing operational and administrative issues, and guaranteeing proper procedure implementation.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for recommending and justifying variations of work orders within their delegated authority. Establishing positive relationships between team members and building owners is also a key aspect of this role.

Reporting requirements include preparing and presenting weekly service/maintenance and monthly management reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Building/Facilities Management or Engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in building management services.

Certifications and Training:

  • Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) Course;
  • Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management) certification;
  • Singapore Certified Energy Management (SCEM) Professional certification.
