Job Title

Assistant Executive Director

Accountability and Functional Relationships

The Assistant Executive Director (AED) is accountable to the Executive Director of the Children & Youth Group. The AED works under the direction of the Director, Social & Community Services (Singapore).

The AED maintains functional relationships with all staff members, The Salvation Army Territorial / Regional Headquarters, Ministry of Social and Family, and other government agencies associated with the Children and Youth Group.

Responsibilities and Objectives
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure services serve their target groups well.
  • Assist the Executive Director in gathering practice insights to improve and reviewing services for better client outcomes.
  • Build capability and contribute to long-term financial sustainability and day-to-day operational matters of the Group.
