Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive data visualizations that meet stakeholder requirements.

  • Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, incorporating complex data models and DAX calculations.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

  • Work closely with data engineers to integrate transformed data from internal sources and external Excel files.

  • Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation using Power Query and DAX to ensure high-quality insights.

  • Enhance dashboard performance, usability, and visual clarity.

  • Implement user access controls based on provided workflows and matrices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data models.

  • Document report logic, data models, and workflows for maintainability.

  • Prepare regular progress updates and escalate risks or blockers as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within reporting workflows.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development with a strong portfolio of dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with Azure SQL and Excel-based data sources.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UX design for dashboards.
  • Ability to manage client relationships professionally and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in business analysis to evaluate feasibility and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
