Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Operations Data Analyst to join our team. As a Trade Finance Operations Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing user correction logs by extracting and consolidating data from ClearTrade and vendor systems. You will also preprocess raw data by document type and field for validation and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user correction logs to identify trends and patterns
  • Preprocess raw data for validation and analysis
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify root causes of corrections
  • Classify corrections into categories such as necessary or unnecessary
  • Summarize findings in clear formats for vendor and user feedback
  • Work with business users to understand operational logic behind correction patterns
  • Coordinate with vendors to share insights and suggest improvements to ML or rule-based systems
  • Maintain documentation of analysis and decision rationales
  • Provide updates, issue logs, and action plans to senior stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Familiarity with Trade Finance processes and documents (e.g., L/Cs, invoices, shipping docs)
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in banking/finance
  • Ability to handle large datasets, especially operational or system logs
  • Proficient in English (written & verbal), with strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with AIOCR systems or trade finance automation tools is a plus
