Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in the development of infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in road/pavement or infrastructure projects, with expertise in survey instruments, construction drawings and specifications, AutoCAD design and drafting, quantity surveying and cost estimation. They will also have a strong understanding of health, safety and environment regulations, as well as management skills to oversee project teams and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget;
  • Lead cross-functional project teams comprising engineers, surveyors and other stakeholders;
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management;
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards;
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the project team;
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for business growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure project management;
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction;
  • Strong technical knowledge of road/pavement design, construction and maintenance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Valid driver's license, with willingness to travel to project sites when required.
