This role includes developing maintenance plans, managing spare parts, and coordinating with various business units to ensure efficient and effective building operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules, reactive works, and emergency break-ins;
  2. Ensure materials, access, and subcontractors are available to complete maintenance within an approved schedule;
  3. Interface with other business units for permit approvals and area safety;
  4. Collate and file worksheets for the completion of statutory works, including all permits;
  5. Order stock of spare parts as required;
  6. Prioritize daily workload based on safety and business criticality, highlighting potential interruptions;
  7. Assess and review the scope of work, checking knowledge, training, time, materials, and other skills/sub-contractor support before commencing;
  8. Log onto and check peripheral monitoring systems/points where applicable;
  9. Conduct equipment start-up and test procedures;
  10. Prepare detailed maintenance reports, including time taken, list of parts/materials used;
  11. Schedule remedial work and authorize new work orders if repairs cannot be completed within the approved schedule;
  12. Monitor operation over appropriate time to verify operational reliability.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Relevant vocational or technical training in maintenance planning or a related field preferred;
  • Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling;
  • Knowledge of maintenance operations and associated areas (e.g., planning and scheduling, maintenance plans development, spare parts management, reliability engineering);
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
  • Knowledge of CMMS and other maintenance management software;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation;
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams;
  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
