Telecommunication Systems Commissioning Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex telecommunication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication, installation and commissioning of telecommunication systems.
  • Assist lead engineer/project manager in the daily execution of ongoing projects.
Qualifications and Requirements: Essential:
Degree in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Relevant working experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Strong knowledge of various telecommunication systems, including GMDSS Radio, VHF Aeronautical Radio, UHF Active Repeater System, Crane & Life Boat Radios, Leaky Feeder and Passive Antenna, VSAT Systems, ENT/IPTV & TVRO Systems, CCTV Systems, PAGA Systems, PABX Systems, LAN/WLAN and IP-PABX Systems, EPOB System, ENV/HMS & Weather Monitoring Systems, PNS, P.R.S. & Navigation Systems, TNMS System, Telecom Shutdown Systems. Desirable:
Hands-on experience on configuration, programming, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of the above systems
High responsibility and ownership on delivering high quality work within given project schedule
Ability to multi task and work under pressure
Team player with cooperation spirit and excellent coordinating skills, as well as capable of working independently
Pro-active and have right working attitude
Self-motivating and willing to learn
Good interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills
Knowledge of application software e.g. Word, Excel, AUTOCAD etc.

You will be part of a dynamic worldwide team of engineers which will require your ability to work, and cooperate with local engineers as well as Semco's engineers around the world.
