Job Description:

Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled telecommunications engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with software development and IT operations.

  • Work with internal and external parties on IT technical solutions and solution implementations
  • Support application software configuration, programming, enhancement and testing based on changing business requirements
  • Maintain VDC environments, firewalls, load balancers and security systems
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network and virtual environments
  • Participate in workshop/meeting to capture and analyse software and system requirements
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery(DR) and CAB(Change Advisory Board) exercises
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering, Info-Comm Technology
  • At least 2 years relevant experience working in telecommunications or multimedia engineering
  • Knowledge in Cloud computing, VMware VDC, firewall and load balancer, networking and security
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Jasper or development of dashboard and reports
  • Knowledge in programming languages, such as: Python, Java, Shell scripting
  • Knowledge in MySQL, PostgreSQL DBs
  • Knowledge in Linux or Windows operating system
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD)
