Procurement Strategist

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in sourcing casting and machining parts for various agricultural equipment such as tractors, harvesters, loaders, and more. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the sourcing activities align with the local and global strategy to enhance competitiveness, reliability, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing the RFQ process and conducting pre-RFQ activities
  2. Engaging in commercial negotiations and preparing recommendations based on defined DoA in alignment with the commodity strategy
  3. Achieving annual cost negotiations, supporting value analysis/value engineering initiatives, and staying updated on raw material market intelligence by publishing monthly MIS reports

You will collaborate with key stakeholders globally and domestically to drive sourcing and other commodity initiatives forward. To excel in this role, you should have 8-12 years of relevant experience and hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech). Your expertise in strategic sourcing, cost negotiation, and stakeholder management will be critical in contributing to the success of our team.
