Job Title: KYC Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and oversee the end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) process across multiple segments.

This role involves direct reporting to the Head of Client Services and playing a key part in ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review client documentation and provide guidance on KYC requirements, working closely with both the Business and clients.
  • Conduct thorough, independent assessments of KYC records, including due diligence, name screening, and verification of submitted information in line with Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure any KYC or Client Due Diligence (CDD)-related gaps are promptly addressed and appropriately documented.
  • Support internal stakeholders by handling client-related queries and service requests.
  • Guide and support junior colleagues and take the lead in managing case exceptions.
  • Contribute to the preparation and reporting of onboarding and account maintenance data, using analysis to highlight process risks or improvement areas.
  • Review and refine current procedures regularly to enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and boost efficiency.
  • Participate in firm-wide transformation efforts to elevate the overall client experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in KYC, CDD, or client onboarding functions.
  • Possession of relevant certifications will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong grasp of client lifecycle management and familiarity with various account structures.
  • Working knowledge of AML/CFT rules and global standards.
  • Client-centric with strong analytical abilities and a solid risk-based approach.
  • Skilled in managing both internal and external stakeholders across different levels.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who is adaptable and open to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
