Job Title:
BIM Modeller
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a BIM Modeller, playing a key role in creating accurate and detailed 3D models of ACMV systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Autodesk Revit and other related BIM software, with a solid understanding of ACMV design principles and standards.

You will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models of ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and components, based on engineer's drawings, specifications, and calculations.

In addition, you will generate shop drawings, sections, and details from the model for fabrication, installation, and coordination, and participate in BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve potential conflicts between different building systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models of ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and components.
  • Model complex geometries and assemblies while adhering to project standards and BIM execution plans.
  • Generate shop drawings, sections, and details from the model for fabrication, installation, and coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design integrity and resolve clashes effectively.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve potential conflicts between different building systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP and other related BIM software.
  • Strong understanding of ACMV design principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
