Overview

The Financial Crime Compliance Transformation (FCCT) team is responsible for designing and implementing best-in-class compliance frameworks to mitigate financial crime risks in the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Summary

This role oversees the implementation of projects within the FCCT team's domain, providing guidance to delivery teams to ensure successful project execution across the APAC region. The person will work closely with stakeholders to drive regional consistency and minimum standards in financial crime compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of a comprehensive compliance framework to monitor, prevent, detect, and mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Oversee the implementation of FCC technology systems and tools, including transaction monitoring, customer screening, and sanctions monitoring.
  • Provide leadership and direction to stakeholders where system or data gaps are identified, ensuring compliance obligations are met in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Simplify processes as necessary and drive regional consistency and minimum standards in financial crime compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and serve as the key FCC interface with Technology, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 10 to 15 years' experience in compliance, legal, or other controls-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge and expertise in the design and implementation of compliance programs.
  • Experience managing FCC programs and advanced knowledge of sanctions, money laundering, and bribery laws and regulations.
  • Track record in overseeing reviews of detection scenarios and screening parameters, back-testing, and data reconciliation.
  • Ability to drive and manage projects, collaborate with people across different cultures, and adapt to complex issues.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
