About the JobWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Chief Intelligence Strategist, Risk Management Specialist. This senior-level position requires expertise in all-source intelligence activities, including the use of intelligence analytic techniques, link analysis, and an in-depth understanding of the APAC region.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing open and non-open source intelligence gathering techniques, including strong use of commercial databases and expansive online research. They will also possess excellent project management skills and experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously to execute daily duties with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Functioning as a subject matter expert and strategic intelligence lead on security and geopolitical threat streams in APAC and providing support on non-APAC matters as needed.
- Applying quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to produce sophisticated analysis, findings, and responses addressing current or emerging risks to the firm.
- D Delivering detailed and professional briefings with a strong application and understanding of analytical techniques to clients, internal stakeholders, and/or leadership.
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify strategic intelligence gaps across CSIS and developing innovative solutions to close identified gaps.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of analytical experience.
- Previous experience with security intelligence analysis (private or government), geopolitical risk, or relevant experience in large, complex environments. Previous experience with private sector organization is preferred. Experience with cyber threat intelligence/analysis a plus.
- Self-motivated and independent operator with the ability and maturity to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions and operate in fast-paced and dynamic settings.
