We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our team as an After-School Care Educator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students, providing a nurturing environment for them to grow and thrive.
  • Academic Support: Assist students with homework and school assignments, helping them build confidence in their academic abilities.
  • Engaging Activities: Plan and lead engaging activities such as arts & crafts, games, and storytelling, promoting creativity and imagination in our students.
  • Behavior Management: Manage student behavior using positive discipline strategies, encouraging good habits and self-discipline in our students.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle attendance and perform basic administrative tasks, ensuring that our records are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • A minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification with strong proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for this role.
  • While not mandatory, having a WSQ Student Care Centre Basic Course Certificate can be beneficial in demonstrating your expertise in student care.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children in student care, teaching, or related fields is required for this position.
  • A passion for working with children aged 7 to 12 is crucial, as you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment for them.
  • You should be responsible, caring, energetic, and able to engage children effectively, making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Prior experience in student care or teaching is a strong advantage, but we are open to candidates who have transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
