Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Group's vessel conversion projects business, including marketing initiatives, commercial enquiry review, project management, and other related tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compile customer enquiries, tenders, and Request for Quotations (RFQs) and follow through according to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Produce Excel models for price and cost analysis.
  • Interpret technical specifications, requirements, and engineering drawings to prepare commercial proposals and bids for submission through coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Compile pre-qualifications and clarifications between customers and Shipyard/Group.
  • Monitor and ensure datelines by customers are strictly followed.
  • Support project management during project execution on cost estimate of variation orders and billing to customers.
  • Maintain and cultivate good relationships with existing and potential associates/customers through regular communication.
  • Comply with Company's HSE and Quality policies through participation in safety and quality initiatives.
  • Work with assigned project planners and managers to plan, generate, and maintain construction schedules of assigned projects.
  • Support communications between customers and internal project teams.
  • Gather market information from different sources to complement business forecasts.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business or Engineering field.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years in commercial roles, and preferably also with experience in module construction and project management.
  • Able to read, interpret, and prepare applicable technical and commercial information, including proposals, engineering drawings, and suggest process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
  • Possess commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of Excel modeling.
  • Has determination and initiative to independently communicate and gather information to facilitate decision making.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to travel internationally for project needs and short-term assignments.
  • Able to collaborate seamlessly across boundaries and international cultures.

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
