Job Description

Royal Ocean Marine, a leading maritime recruitment agency, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Fleet Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating between vessels and shore, managing logistics arrangements, and handling contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and ensure smooth communication between vessels, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Manage timely and cost-effective logistics arrangements, including spare parts, services, stores, and lube oils.
  • Issue purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain records of transactions.
  • Monitor vessel budgets, prepare variance reports, and assist with various reports as required.
  • Monitor certificate and class survey status, handle vessel mail and courier delivery, and maintain records for quotations and price comparisons.
  • Assist with contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Support in the preparation and completion of internal contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure compliance and timely execution of contracts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably in Maritime Studies or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the shipping industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in handling logistics and coordinating activities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of contract administration and legal terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred.
